Local hunter and Five Star Outfitters guide, Dean Kessler, pursues them hard every year until he has results like this! We kid Dean a lot about
Five Star Outfitters wanting to sneak customers into his personal stands, and he just laughs. Dean was in pursuit of a
MONSTER 10 pointer that he saw on several occasions including the day he harvested this trophy eight pointer. This 140+ buck isn't too hard to settle for! Congratulations Dean. |

22-I love it when things come together! I watched this buck go lay down in a small creek bottom during shotgun season.
With a little push we went right down the barrel of Rich Meyers for a good clean kill. Check out the brow tines! |

My hunting was extremely limited in the 2003 season. I made it to a stand twice during Nov. and
Dec. However, I hunted hard in Jan. and caught up with this dandy from the ground at 30 yards. 21" inside spread with a 7" drop tine. |

Dave Blohaweak and guide Travis Kenton pose for a beautiful sunset picture on the last day of
muzzleloader and our 2003 season! |

In the beginnings! Friend David Caudill and myself with a 140 class 8 pointer I stuck on Nov. 10.
Bucks like this 230 lb field dressed monster is what fed the passion to start 5 Star! |

My wife, Lisa, and myself posing with Dave's monster. That was definitely a great finish to a long,
hard 2003 season! |

Dave Blohaweak of Green Bay, Wisconsin with a 218 Gross MONSTER. Taken the last day of MUZZLELOADER
2003. This buck and one just as large after a yearling doe. Dave's Saboth found the mark and the buck only went about 60 yards. |

Dean Sullins of PA with a giant 2003 160 class 13 pointer. A few soft grunts and tickles of tines
brought this buck trotting through the timber in late Oct. Another stand that was hung the day before. There is a sad side to this story however. Dean had a 180 class 8
pointer in his sights the day before and his arrow came off the rest while twisting around the tree. |

Lightning strikes twice! Gary McCoy of Maryland harvested this huge 8 pointer out of the same stand
he scored out of in 2002. Gary watched this buck the entire day! After breeding a doe twice throughout the day he came in to a grunt call . Gary dropped the hammer on
him with both feet off the ground at a licking branch. |

A happy Florida client! Chase Day of Live Oak, Florida used a decoy and some soft grunts to lure
this fine 8 pointer at last light on Nov. 3, 2003. |

Gary Davis of PA and guide Travis Kenton are all smiles with this split browed 10 pointer. I walked
Gary through 400 yards of standing corn on a hot late Oct. 2003 afternoon to slip into this stand. The buck slipped out of the standing corn and into the small wood lot
30 minutes before dark. The rest is history! |
